This online course session focuses on deep excavations and implementation of Eurocode 7 on numerical modeling.
Deep excavations in urban areas generally comprise many structural elements like anchors, struts to prevent the soil body collapse. Eurocode 7 dictates the procedure for serviceability and stability during and post-construction phase by recommending design values. In this 1 hour program, GTS NX will be used to demonstrate the stability of deep excavations by presenting the design approach of Eurocode 7 that allows using partial factors for loads and materials after a serviceability calculation has been performed.
All the different training examples through the webinar sessions and certification tasks are designed to enhance the understanding of training. Engineering professionals and graduates are invited to attend this course for free.
